A variety of yellows have shown up on my palette consistently for the past few years. Yellow represents the solar plexus chakra, located in the mid section of the spine (belly button region). This piece of art was inspired by deep intergenerational trauma healing work, and is titled for my Great Aunt Rosie, whose cheer was most remarkable.
It soothes me to believe in the balance of lightness and darkness in life. It must be so to have both.
